Cabinet making can sometimes feel like brain surgery. There are so many minute details to be considered when putting a run of cabinets together to make sure everything is correct, from drawer placement to countertop overhang. But here at Trinity Woodworking cabinetry is our bread and butter. We’ve been doing it for thirty years and bringing that experience to our clients is why we have become a staple in the Hudson Valley.
Let’s look at the commercial industry. There are banks and medical centers popping up all the time in need of custom cabinetry. The material most often chosen for these types of projects if laminate or Formica. Laminate is a plastic sheet good that comes in many finishes like wood grain, metal, stone, etc. Its advantage is that it is durable and cost-effective. Different styles and textures are a good branding tool and can become part of a companies identity moving forward.
Let’s take a look at some of the laminate jobs we have done over the years. First up is the recently renovated Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) headquarters. They chose a select Cherry laminate for the cabinets and an Olive Organics laminate for the counters. It’s a solid combination that has worked very well for them over the years.
Next up is the main office of Trailer King located in Dutchess County. They specialize in good quality trailers and some of the coolest salespeople you’ll ever meet. Steve the owner is one of a kind, gracious, wise, and fun to be around. They went with a grey laminate and put in a reception desk, retail shelving, and some behind the counter work areas.
Laminate is great for commercial work areas and office space. Contact Us for samples and start designing your project.
